Fun filled Christmast Weekend in Paris!!!

This Christmas was my first one spent without my family and friends. It felt different but it turned out to be a good Christmas indeed. On Friday night, we (we being the fellow Canadians who passed the holidays away from family here in paris) had our very own Christmas party at Gab & Yan's place. It was very nice with lots of laughs, drinking games, so yelling (done by me at Gab & Yan) and even a gift exchange (Lobster, you stole my usb key!!!) At the end of the night, it was a lot of fun and we found out a little bit more about each other, (in some cases too much, right Gab ;-) hehe). Yan, get your finger out of my ear!!!!! And Yan, what is that you are reading?!?!?!?

On Saturday night Jalia, Fulya Lobster and myself got together for dinner. We went to a spanish restaurant called La Pradada. It was very nice and we had alot of lots (Most at the expensive of Jal and Fulya, haha). Then we wanted to go dancing, but it seemed as though every place Lobster suggested to go to was closed or no longer exists!!! Lobi, you got to update your list of places to go my friend, it was embarassing!!!! ;-) Then a suggestion came about going to Café OZ but there was no way I was going there because I was looking slick, and my shoes were too stylish to go there. They are white and made with fine soft white leather, they would be destroyed inside that bar. So after alot of convincing, we headed to my appartment to change my shoes. Well, once we got there I invited everybody up for a drink of wine and we ended up having a few glasses and then we started playing the "I never done..." drinking game. I have to say that we all found out alot more about each other. The vodka from Norway is really smoothe, thanks Emma!!!

As for Christmas Eve itself, it was very quiet, and at Midnight on Christmas morning I joined Sacha and Anna at the Notre Dame de Paris for the midnight mass. It was my first time inside the Cathedral and I have to say I was very impressed. There was alot of people who came to pray and celebrate the birth of Christ. It was nice experience.

Christmas day I was invited over to Jessica's place to have dinner with her mom, her sister, her boyfriend,Val and Gab (who later showed up because he was out drinking untill 8am, lol!!!) oh and Jess's cute little cat, Lola ;-) It was a very fun day, lots of laughs and it felt almost like family. THANK YOU ALL for a wonderful Christmas weekend!!!!!

Missing you all very much!!!

The weekend past was my first Christmas spent without my parents and my sweet sister Krisann. I miss them very much and being over 6000 kms away can really make this time of year feel very lonely. Mommy, Daddy, Krisann, Bradley, Steven, Phil, Rudy, Adrian, Buju, AZ, Vik, Erin, Eric, Tanika, Gale, MC, Sandra, Jonno, Jon F, Mariuz, Q, Marv, Vlad, Sheldon.... I miss you all very, very much, and I can't wait to see you all again. These are all the people very close to me who have been in my life for years, the people who I left behind back in Canada. They will always be in my heart and I appreciate them all very much.

Merry Christmas & Happy New Year... 2007 will be a great year for us all!!!

Trip to Italy!!!

Hello, BUONGIORNO!!!!

It's been a while since I've blogged since I haven't felt that motived in recent months. With my site being down and the motorcycle accident, I've had different priorites. However, thanks to Mat and others I was very motivated to head to Venice, Italy. In fact out of all the countries I've visited in my life, Italy is my favorite. I can't really explain why but I instantly feel at home here, everytime I visit. This is the second visit for me, the first was when I was 15 years old...I was apart of the Quebec National Handball Team, and we spent 3 months touring Europe. Infact about 6 weeks was spent in Italy alone as the biggest tournament was held in Teramo, Italy. We actually finshed 3rd in the world out of over 60 countries!!!! It was one of the greatest events of my life, and an experience I'll never forget!!!

Needless to say that it was a different experience being there with Gab, Dan, Sebfo, and Mat but it was unforgettable nonetheless. We had alot of laughs, we saw a beautiful city, we had alot of arguements as well and we had quit an adventure getting back home after our flight was cancelled at the last minute. However in the end I have a greater respect and love for all of my travel buddies. Next trip, Prague??????

Btw, i have some photos that I took from Venice posted HERE, take a look. And check out Mat's photo and the ones taken by Gab and Dan.

My trip to Krakow, Poland

Although I am late with my post, I want to share with you all the stories from my travel partners on this trip to Krakow, Poland. It was my first time to an eastern European country, and it was definitely an eye opener. It shows lots of history and it shows just how deep a culture's traditions and way of thinking goes, no matter if it's seen as immoral or prejudice by the rest of the world. I went on this trip with Gab and with Mat. 2 good friend, and we had a great time, please read their blog posts on our trip :D

Sunday, Doing the Tourist Thing :-)

Even though I was still hung over and I passed out on Yan.B et Gab's couch, the suggestion came up to join some friends who wanted to visit the Eiffel Tower. Finally I'll get to go up and enjoy the view.

Gab and I went to join Val and Léa who were already there. However, once I got there they decided not to go up the tower but to enjoy the view from ground level. I took a few photos (Which will be loaded as soon as my website is back online.) of the Eiffel Tower upclose and of the gang.

Later on we decided to go to Montmatre and see the SacreCoeur eglise. It was late in the evening when we finally arrived there but the view of Paris at night was amazing.

Then we went to a restaurant which Val recommended. The evening ended nicely with good memories and good company.

Another Crazy Night in Paris

Wow, What a fun filled night dans le Marais chez Gab et Yan.B!!!! Saturday morning started off quietly for me as I got to sleep in for the first time since I came back from London. On Friday night I took the bike and went over to Yan's & gab's place to eat, chat and have a drink. Well Sacha, Val and Gab were there with Matt et Celine. It turns out to be alot of fun, where we joked around and had a glass of wine.

Well, Saturday turned out to be like Friday but times 100 more fun!!!!!!!! There ended up being at least 15 people coming over for dinner. The supper was prepared by VAl et Frank, Lia et la petite Jess. We had pesto spaggetti, with fried chicken breasts, salade and of course lots of Wine ;-)

Then the real fun began with a drinking game called "Signs". Everyone gathered around in the living room and Saad and Gab showed us the rules. How you play the game is like this: you are seated and each member of the group has to choose a sign. It's kinda like sherraids but with alcohol! For example Gab chose a stupid looking hand signal, it looked like a tribal dance, lol. Saad chose wiping his finger under nose and Emma chose a spanking gesture, as if she's spanking a child on her lap. I chose the "dirt off your should" move from the Jigger man, Jay-Z. So the games starts with everybody clapping their hands on their laps and then 1 person at a time starts off by doing their own sign and then they pick the sign of someone else and copy that action. If your sign gets picked then you have to do your sign and then clap your lap and then do the sign of somebody else. So it goes on from there, you can pick anybody's sign including the person who picked yours in the first place. Now a person will have to take a shoot if they make a mistake in anyway. Trust me, it's very easy to mess that up, especially after a couple of drinks. Well, needless to say, some people had a harder time with it than others. Lobster, Lia, Emma and I seemed to be gunning for one another but in the end we all did pretty well.... except till when they decided to add sounds to go with the signs. This is where at one point everybody was trying to get me. I think it was because they loved my sign so much, I did a MJ in "Thriller" move where I gabbed my hugh croche and said "Oh Mama", LOL. So at that point I was doing the correct signs but not the correct sound, LOL. For some reason I had "Kaboom" stuck in my head, and resulting in me drinking 5 huge shoots in a row!!!!!!

Wow, at some point after that Gab broke the glass in his bathroom and everybody else was tipsy, wow it was alot of fun. Lobster and I were dancing and then after that, I don't remember, I passed out on Yan B's couch, I don't even remember anybody leaving!

Thanks everybody for a fun filled evening. Next time, I'll just do better in our little game ;-)

August Thus Far...

The month of August is coming close to ending, and it has not been very summerlike thus far this month. It really is disappointing that it has rarely been sunny, most rainy and at night very chilly to the point that the windows need to be closed. Not very pleasant at all for the month of Ausgust. Well there have been alot of highlights, I got to travel alot of see some people I haven't seen in a while and solidfy new relationships. I got my sweet Motorcycle and I am getting used to riding this powerful machine, I love it. Yes, I've been taking it easy of late but I my alot of cool and special people around to keep thing fun.

Update on my FreeBox

I spoke to a Freebox technical support representative and he said that my line has now been setup. The cables has been sucessfully connected and I should receive the actual Freebox receiver demain!!!!

Wow after more than 11 weeks of waiting for this to be setup and installed, the day is finally coming where I may be able to use it!!!! Now all I need to do is get a TV, LOL.

A Nice Weekend in London, Part 2

Yes, London was a nice experience indeed. I learned a few english terms like for example, when a person wants to go and take the train/metro, an Englishman would say "I'm going to the tube". Yup, tube is the metro, and as I told Mika, "tube" in North America refers to watching TV or the TV. She then told me that I'll need 4 quit to take the tube. I was like excuse me??? Then she told me that "quit" in English means 1 english pound. You guys should have seen my face. Then she went on to say 100 pounds she refered to "1 ground"!!!! Yes, it's true, I'm not maiking this up. Hehe I love the English ;-)

Saturday night we met with Yacine, Maja and Saeed. Very cool people, in fact Yacine used to live in Paris and he'll be coming here soon, so you all will get to met him. He enjoys a good party and likes to dance, let loose and the ladies like him alot.

We were going to go to Astor's but then we decided to go to "Sin" instead located next to the central point. This an exclusive place and in hasa nice vibe. there are 5 rooms where different genre of music is playing. However, I was not impressed with the music in the hip hop/ r n b room. The room itself was beautiful, but the DJ sucked. So we hung out in the house room and the music there kicked ass, very good indeed, everybody had a good time. There was also mention of a club called Fabric by my friends here in Paris, but our group was not interested in going there this time around, especially Mika. It is supposed to be one of the biggest clubs in the world, holding thousands of people. But if you are a person who does not like huge crowds, then this isn't the place for you.

I took the photo of Princess Di, the reason is when I saw it, she looks so beautiful and I felt very sad inside that she is no longer with us. Before her death she was the most famous woman in the world and they are holding an exhibition in London of photographs taken of her. Unfortunately I did not get to visit the display of her photos, this was one of the things I wanted to do the most. Hopefully I will get a chance to the next time I go back to London.

Well this is the quick resume of my first trip to London since I was like 15 years old. I enjoyed my time there and I'll be visiting London often enough, since it's so easy to get there from Paris.

Cheers :-)

President Brush, You Need to Read This:

"I hope our wisdom will grow with our power, and teach us, that the less we use our power the greater it will be." - Thomas Jefferson

FYI: Thomas Jefferson (1743–1826), U.S. president. Quote from a Letter, date: June 12, 1815

Here Mr. Brush, as you can see, is a quote from one of the forefathers of the Once Great United States and he was one of it's greatest Presidents. He was the 3rd President of the U.S. and he was a powerful advocate of liberty. Being leader, he reduced taxes and reduced the national debt by a third. While doing all this even also expanded the US territory by acquiring Louisiana and also slashed military expenditures. He also was an advocate for non voilent solutions and tried to avoid war, especially with the French.

I think that you need to follow the path in which past leaders have shown you like Mr. Thomas Jefferson. Where peace and the well being of the citizens of the Unites States is your primary objective and not that of your family's personal objectives to make yourselves even more rich off of the suffering of others.

A nice Weekend in London, Part 1

I started writing this post on Monday morning, unfortunately I did not get to publish this until today, so please keep this in mind as your reading it. This is part one on my trip to London.

It's Monday and I'm back at my job in Paris. It was but only a few hours ago that my feet were of British soil, then I got on the EuroStar train and it was that simple. I enjoy it very much when I travel this way. No complications or waiting in long lines or in waiting rooms like in airports like CDG in Paris.

Unfortunately as I was there, it rained most of the time, which really sucks when it's the middle of August. I did see the London Bridge but there were a few other places I wanted to see but didn't get the chance. I will make up for it in the near future. I found London to be a fairly nice place and believe it or not, it has a lot of similarities to Paris. I get a similar "feeling" as I walk around the buildings. However the buildings in the downtown area seem newer than those found in the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th arrondissements but not as new as in La Defence.

Now to explain the photo on top, I spotted this sign in a Nepalean restaurant called Nangelo. I ate there with Mika on Friday night after I arrived in London. The restaurant had an ambient feel to it and the staff was extremely friendly. This being said, when I saw the sign, I thought to myself; "no wonder they are being so friendly, because if the restaurant burns down, they will be safely outside while the rest of us burns... since they are the only ones who can use the Fire Exit." Haha, too funny!

Just as a reminder more to come (Part 2) on London in an upcoming blog post!

Spending the Weekend in London

Yes ladies and Gents, I'm going to London this weekend. I'm taking the super train that goes directly from France to England via an underwater tunnel built several years ago to connect the 2 great Paris and London together. It'll take only under 3 hours as when before the tunnel was built, you either had to fly and take a boat across which would take hours to sail across. I will be taking alot of photos so I'll see you all next week. No, I won't be drinking any Guiness because I don't like beer, so therefore it's totally out of the question. Have a great weekend!

What a great start to a new week in Paris

Yes I just came back from Mount-Real and I'm still exhausted from jet lag but I have fantastic news.... I just picked up my new toy!! I'll use the word machine instead because this is no toy, I just picked up my motorcycle, a 2001 Suzuki TL 1000R!!! Yes it's a "bad boy" machine indee. It rides very wel especiallyl considering when I got it, rain started to pour down and the sky got dark. It was an interesting experience riding it from the town name Plaisir where I bought it, back all the way to Paris. It was long for my first ride on the bike, even a bit scary with the large pools of water building up on the highway but VERY exciting!!!! I love this bike and you'll for sure see me riding all over town as it's destinct colours cannot be misesd. Photos are coming very soon.

AS YES, I promise that I'll be very safe!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm Back from MTL, I love my Original Home Town

YES, I'm back from a very quick visit (too quick actually) to my birth place, Montreal, Quebec, Canada!!! It was nice to see my parents again, Brad and Jonno (my old roommate). Unfortunately I did not get to see everybody I wanted, actually it was so quick, I barely got to see anybody :-(

I did get to see Irina, who I haven't seen in a long, long time, since way before I left for Paris. We caught up and it was fun to talk about old times. I also got to speak Briefly to Yannich Hebert!!!! Yes sir, he is a great guy, and he is working on putting himself right where he wants to be. Things are going well so give him a couple more months and we'll all be able to see just how sucessful he's become. Brad, thanks for again being very loyal and helpful while I'm here in Paris, luv you dude.

Everybody else, I'm sorry we did not get to catch up more as I was only there technically for a few days.

Congrats to my parents who just sold the house, the house in which I grew up in (Over 20 years living in that house)! We (my Mom, Dad, Sister and me) have had alot of memories together there and now since my Sis and I and moved away, they will move back to Jamaica and retire on the beach!

Yes, I'm Back MTL!!!!!

Well for a short while anyway, yes I'm back in Mtl for the weekend. I got to take care of some unfinished business, basically for my car. I will take advantage to see those that I did not get to see for my B-day and just enjoy MTL in the summer time. Be ready guys and girls, this weekend will be wild!!!! And it is confirmed, as I arrive back in Paris on Monday, I'll be picking up my new "toy"!!! Remember in the previous post I talked about getting my new "toy", well again, here's a HINT.

Paris have a great weekend!!! See you on Monday. :-D

This Week Looks Great !

It looks like it's going to be a great and busy week. Yesterday was busy at work, alot of emails to write and some surpises along the way. Today work has been ok and I still have alot of emails to write but at least I got a chance to update my blog. Demain is an important day as I hope to pick up my new motorcycle before I leave for montreal on Thrusday morning! Yup I'm a busy bee and this week will be very interesting indeed.

Oh yes, I did in fact say that I'm getting a motorcycle and that I am going to MONT-REAL on Thursday, however it's a short stay, I'm returning back to Paris on Sunday!

Started Great, Ended Quietly

It turned out to be a bit of a disappointing weekend in the end but Friday night started off really well. Lobster and I met at the gym (unfortunately I because I went to the gym, I did not get a chance to meet Dider et Marc for a game of pool, but next time Dider, you and me!), and we had a good workout then we passed by my place for a quick tour. We then headed to a nice little restaurant called les Philosophes dans le marais where we met Gab, Yan B, Mat, Sheila, Emilie, Daniel and Saphie who were already finishing their meals. After a few more bottles of wine, we all headed to the famous Cafe OZ. I'll will be honest, I'm not a big fan of the place but when I get there, it's usually a good time, and this time was no exception. Alexis, Oliver, Sebfo and Sacha joined us. It was a good night of drinking and drama. Oh yes, it was quite a Friday night.

Saturday morning I got up early in order to go and take Jessica's kittens to the Vet because she went to Italy to see her family for the weekend. Yes, I loved it here, you can go to any country in europe and it's only a maximum 3 hours away by plane. Anyway, I have to say Jess that your kittens are few cute. After that it was a chill Saturday, I went to Gab and Yan B's new appartment in le marais. It's a very nice and hugh place guys, congrats, I'm certain I'll be passing out on that leather sofa very often indeed ;-)

There was alot of people who came by to check out their new place and then we went downstairs to the American breakfast restaurant where you can eat scrambled eggs, pancakes and real bacon!!! Yup it was great!

Saturday night ended up being very chill as some plans with Gab fell through. Sunday was also quiet but I did go to the gym and I did some laundry. I also had a visit from Yan B. and Nook, after that the weekend ended nicely and quietly.

FREEBOX, Signs of hope???

Well, I got a phone call last night from a representative of France telecom. I had missed her phone call and she said in the voice message that she will call back today to make an appointment to have the technican come by my place and install the phone jacks, etc. This needs to be done in order to complete the installation of my Freebox.

Well, this morning at arround 11am I get a new voicemail indication on my cell. I checked it and apparently the lady called back!! Oh boy, I did not even hear the phone ring! What bad luck, I've ONLY been waiting almost 3 months to get this thing installed. I am seriously getting frustrated with the process. I have to say it would never be this long in Montreal and if it did, I would get the service free for a year!!!!

On the message the lady said that she'll call back on Monday. Val suggested that I call back France telecom and schedule an appointment. But to my surprise, the lady did not leave her name nor her telephone number! Oh la la la la la.... qu'est qui passe ici???? Anyway, I have to continue to be patient, something that this experience living in Paris has taught me alot about.

Lobster, how's your new freebox working? Gab/Yan B. don't forget to get the freebox transfered to your new appartment, because I fear it could take a long time before it will begin working.

Allez, A+

Another Chill Evening in Paris

Last night, was a very chill night spent with my buddy Omar. This Morroccan dude came to meet me at metro Notre-Dame de Lorette and then we went to the motorcycle accessory shop on his scooter. There was not as much of a selection as I would have hoped but I did find a nice pair of gloves and a helmet. So now I'm almost set, just missing the jacket and pants.

We then went to the gym and then Omar was invited to a private birthday party of a good friend of his. Wow it turned out to be a lot of fun, drinking wine, eating pizzas and LOTS of laughs.

Omar, we got to do this again my friend. I got to say you are a very chill dude.

Allez, A+

My Teeth are Shinny and Clean

I was to the dentist's office today and the result, my teeth are doing fine, thank you very much! I will admit that the last time I went, has been a while, so I figured they may be in bad shape.

Well, on the contrary, they are in great shape. It goes to show boys and girls that you should brush your teeth 2 times a day and Floss your teeth at least once a day to keep your gums and teeth healthy. I can say that I am pretty disciplined went it comes to my teeth.

I have to thank the Dentist named Emilie. She took me to the Dental university where is has just graduated from and gave me a check up and a cleaning. She did a great job as the experience was ammost painless and that is what I like!

So yes, I will keep smiling and show my perlly whites and I must thank Emilie again for the great job she did on my teeth.

Another Good Weekend in Paris

Friday was a long day but it ended well, spent the night with Gab, Yan B, Oli, Mat, Sheila, Emma, Diane and Emile first at San Antonio's for supper and then we all went to O'Sullivan's. The last time I was there I had a great time, Tanya was teaching me how to dance Salsa!

Saturday I went to an important RDV and I've made a purchase of something very exciting for moi. I will let you know more later on this week. I also chilled with Yan B. and we had a great conversation over at my apartment. Then Yan and I met with Daniel and we literally walked around the Quai near Notre Dame Catherdral looking for Mat and enjoy the scenery with a glass of wine. Folks, I have to say that this is utlimately France, sitting on the quai, near the historic Cathedrale and the fantastic weather, it was unbelievable. I only wish that all my love ones were there to experience it with me.

Sunday, was a very chill day, and it was a great day to have a picnic. So we did! It was very chill and there was lots of laughs. Valerie made all the sandwiches, thanks VAL!!!!!!!!

We then finished off the day by going to see a movie, its a great movie in fact, it has won 2 awards at the Cannes movie festival. The movie is called Tsotsi, I recommend that you all go see it. It actually made all of us (Yes I mean us guys like me, Gab, Yan and Omar) get teary eyed because is was powerfully touching and emotional. Again, go see it.

That's it for now, have a great week everybody!!! I'll be back demain ;-)

Farewell Tatyana, have a safe and fun trip!!!!!

My sweet, adorable friend Tanya is going back to Bulgaria for almost 50 days (about 1 month and 1/2) to visit her family & friends. Since is lives and goes to school in Paris, she doesn't get a chance to see them that often.

We'll all miss you over here in Paris, you are a sweetheart. Have fun and be safe and I look forward to hearing all about the trip when you get back.

Congrats on being accepted on the university of your choice! You go girl ;-)

Gab is finally following my lead, Good boy

After 4 months, Gab is finally seeing the light and following my lead. In this small break through, he has been admiring my new Bluetooth Headphones which works with any bluetooth cell phone and MP3 player.

Mon Bluetooth Pulsar 590A de Plantronics is "Off da chain"!!!! This means Amazing or fantastic for all you White folks who don't understand Urban Slang ;-) I actually bought it on ebay 4 months ago but it did not arrive before I moved to France. I was very pissed about this and I gave the vendor a negative feedback for this. They gave me the run around and was not helpful at all so they really deserved it. Anyway, I retrieved it from from EX roomie Jonathan when I returned to MTL (Thanks bro for taking care of it for me).

Now Gab wants to buy one and he has even put a blog post on his site declaring his love for my new toy. Gab, you copycat! It's ok though, I don't care at all, it's a great product and I recommend it to everybody who hates Wires like I do!!!!!

Stay tuned for my next toy, and you'll never believe what's its going to be, Hint hint

My Rare chance to Blog

Yes Folks, this really sucks! I cannot catch a free signal from my apartment anymore. Perhaps the subscriber caught on and secured his/her connection. As for getting onto the blog at work, well, needless to say it's not the approprate place to do these type of personal things on the internet. I know some of you are thinking, "since when do I care about that???" Well I don't but I'm attempting to get myself more involved into the functional aspect of this position here at S.G. however, it takes some scarfice.

LAst night, there was a huge storm that passed through, it woke everybody up and when I went to the window, it was amazing to see mother nature at work. I wanted to take a video of the light show but I decided not too in case Mrs Nature decided that she did not want me doing that and therefore frying my brown ass with a bolt of lightning!!! However again, I must say, it was amazing to watch especially with the Eiffel Tower in the background.

It looks like my car may finally be sold, Brad has done a great job, being in charge of my car since I returned to paris, almost 2 weeks ago. Apparently the potential buyer is in a great hurry to get his hands on my car, and I don't blame him. I was honestly VERY close to just shipping it here to Paris. The Parisens would have flipped out seeing such a hot car, because there isn't another like it here now!!

The videos I mentioned in the previous blog post has not been uploaded yet due to the obvisous reasons but I will do it as soon as humanly possible. However I have been able to add new photos so please go ahead and enjoy.

A "WHATEVER" Weekend

A "Whatever" weekend is an inside joke between myself, Jalia and Tanya. All in all, the weekend was the first weekend in a long time weres it was not a huge party of lots of drinking, dancing, laughs and eating. The big difference here is that there was very little drinking so it keep this relatively quiet. Then weekend the gang was out of town; Gab, Yan B, Matt and the others went to Barcelona. I was very close to going in the last minute but the tickets were too expensive to make the trip. Sacha and Alexis went to Montreal, Olivier was working and Sebfo, I believe was busy as well.

So Friday evening after finishing work around 20h00, I went home. As I was on the metro heading to Trocadero, I noticed that there was a whole lot more people there than normal. When the metro finally arrived, it was so full that many of the people already there could not get on and had to wait for the next Train.

I almost forgot but Friday July 14th, 2006 is France's national holiday. When finally went outside from the metro station Trocadero, the area was rumbling with tourist and citizens alike. So I spoke to Tanya and invited her and I even suggested to her to invite Sacha, for them to join me and we could all go to the Eiffel tower. She was too tired to and at this point the metro was jammed packed with people. So I went down to place Trocadero and squeezed through the massive crowd so that I can get a look at the fireworks. It was pretty good and I took videos of the action which can be found HERE.

It was very nice to see enjoy take pride in the country history, there was houndreds of people around the Eiffel tower, everybody cheering whenever a big explosion was made. It's nice to see, with the Eiffel tower standing tall and the fireworks in the background.

Let me know what you think from the video and photos found on my site.

Getting harder to Blog :-(

Guys, again I have to apologize for the slow and rare posts that you've been seeing lately (Or NOT seeing, depending on how you look at it, lol). I still don't have the internet setup at my apartment. For whatever reason, my Freebox has not arrived and the company keeps on telling me that it will be done soon and to wait. It's been 7 weeks already!!!!! If I would have known that it'll ytake so long then I would have ordered it before I even moved to Paris!!!!

So for now, I can only update it when I'm not busy at work or if I'm at a place which has internet. Be patient and I'll give you more news about me soon :-D

Photos from Montreal are online

Hi everyone, I have posted some photos from my 2 week trip to Montreal. They are of some of my friends and family. The 2 weeks went by quickly and I am very sad that I did not get to see everybody I wanted too but I did get to catch up with some of my good buddies. There were lots of laughing, a lot of drinking, not much sleep and and a whole bunch of running around. The trip in a whole was a great one, thanks to everybody who was there for my b-day. I can't wait to see you all very soon.

Today's Horoscope for moi

I'm a Cancer, born on July 9th. Here's what Métro Journal had to say about today's horoscope for me.

"CANCER - Le cosmos vous pose probléme, vous ressentez des tensions, des conflits sous-jacents qui remontent à la surface. Fuyez à toutes jambes les histoires, évitez les subjets épineux et ne participez pas aux discussions orageuses."

WOW, I'm inpressed that a fairly accurate description of what I've been going through for the last couple of days. It's been rough but as they say 'What doesn't kill you only makes you stronger' and it will also make me wiser.

Remember, keep your head and smile :-D

Lots of Fun and running around

It has been a very good past 7 days, from going out with friends like Vlad, Marius, Steve F, and spending a crazy fun filled evening with Gab and Yan B. I have also been running around, trying to get all the loose ends settled with before my return back to Paris. I feel like there isn't enough time in a day to get all the things done but I will find a way, that's for sure. All in all, I'm having a great time in MTL but I do miss certain things about Paris, or perhaps I should also say certain people. OK have to say Congrats to FRANCE for making it into the World Cup Finals. Paris must be going wild at this very moment, to bad I'm missing the celebration however I'll be back soon enough.

It's a great month for birthday's

Summer is now in full swing, and June is just coming to a close and July is just beginning. There are alot of people celebrating their birthdays and I want to try and send out b-day wishes to them.

I want to wish a very special happy birthday to Iulia which is today June 30th. Sweety have the best birthday ever!
Steve Forlini, Happy B-day bro, we had a great time last night. (Blog post on the last couple of days is coming).
There are many others who celebrating so I will just say Happy b-day to you all.

I also want to wish to Yanick Hebert a nice and safe trip to his new home in Barcelona, Spain!!! you go Amigo!!!!

A Wrapup on my first couple of days back in MTL

Well I must say I did not expect this but the week did not start off as well as I hoped. Perhaps because of a combination of jet lag and allergies, I was feeling a bit under the weather. I also did not expect that I would be feeling sad and hurt by events occuring back in Paris involving some acquaintance.

In anycase that will be dealth with when I return to Paris but it has given me alot to ponder and re-evaluate certain friendships I have. I do have someone very special in my mind who I wish nothing but happiness for. I look forward to seeing her soon.

On to the fun stuff, Sunday actually was a littl bit tammer than I thought it was going to be. I was on the phone with Gab & Yan B but unfortunately I did not get to see them. I meet with Erin at her house in Greenfield park. She's been fixing up the basement because the house is now up for sale. We were catching up and she made diner for us (it's her specialiy since she is a chef at the Casino de Montreal's five diamond rated gourmet restaurant, Nuance). This made be strange for some of you to hear but I have never had a salade with tamerindes before now, it was great! After supper I went to Toyko Bar where I met my long time bredren Damien a.k.a Big Truck, Marvin and Chris. It was very cool to see these guys again and it was also very chill to see Stacey, who was working behind the bar, looking oh so sexy.

Monday was a chill day as I was trying to rest from feeling ill. Monday night I met my cousin Eric and my buddy Kenny who is getting married on Saturday and he's invited me to the wedding. Very cool and I ended up doing nothing but relax.

Nice to be back in MTL

Well I made it back, after an almost 8 hour flight and going through hell at the Charles de Gualle Aeroport in Paris. It was awful, and it's the first time I've been maltreated by the Air Canada representatives in Paris. I won't go too much into it but I have to thank Tanya for accompaning me or else the experience would have much much worse. After all was said and done, I actually arrived in Montreal a couple of hours eariler than when originally planned. Brad, who is bascially my brother (He's my best friend and I've known him since I've been 6 or 7 years old, we've been through alot together, so he's family) came to pick me up at the airport.

He has been taking care of my car and my fish. But while in his care, all of my fish died!!!!!!! It was honestly upsetting to me, they are only goldfish but I loved them. I bought them 4 years ago and I've taken care of them ever since. When I would walk up to the tank, they would swim up to me, I'd walk to the other end of the tank, they'd follow me. It was cool, my first pets.

So I hoped that Brad took care of my car a whole LOT better than he did my fish. LOL, so we drive up to my car and yes, there she was, she looks great, I'm soooooo happy to be driving her again.

Last night I ate with Brad and his girlfriend Karine, who I also known for a long time. Steven, another long time friend (he's family too) came to join us and we went for a drink. Although I was mentally in good shape to go out and party all night, I was starting to feel very tried and passed out a couple of times in Steve's Car. Unfortunately I did not get to meet up with Yan B or Gab but I'm sure we'll make up for it tonight.

So it's a nice warm day in MTL, Grand Prix Sunday in Mtl and it's going to be a funfilled day and night, no doubt!!!!

T minus 24

It's Friday, June 23, 2006. What a day. It's beautiful today in Paris. I am at work, it's kinda slow right now so I can "Blog" a little, hehe. Suddenly I start to look back and realized what a difference a year can make. This time last year I was preparing to move in with Jonathan and Dave. These 2 guys are great, and will be my friends for life. I think I couldn't have had better roommates. This was a hectic period as we encountered many problems as we tried to get settled into our new place.

As well, during this time last year I was also working a horrible shift at CN, the graveyard shift. Not only was it graveyard, but also it was from 8pm to 8pm from Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday. It was horrible!!!! I hated that shift with a passion. My sleeping schedule was totally disrupted and I was constantly tired. The weather outside was nice, and warm, therefore it was even harder to sleep during the day, I was not able to rest more than a few hours. What made things even worse for me is that because of the senior staff summer vacations, I was forced to do this shift through the summer!!! I missed 1 of my friend's wedding and almost could not go to my cousin Tanika's wedding.

Yup things has really changed in a year's time, I still only now am taking in the fact that I now work in Europe, that I now live steps away from a national monument and minutes away from a boulevard where the rich & famous hangout. I am taking it all in, as I need to prepare to go back to Montréal, and see my old friends and family and take care of unfinished business.

Jessica asked me if I'm getting excited about my trip back home, and I thought to myself not so much right now. It's weird because within the first week, i wanted to go back home badly and back to my old life, job, family and friends. As time went on, and with many new experiences here in Paris, I grew to really enjoy being here, in fact I think of Paris as my new home. Even as I write this right now, I can hardly believe that this is true, but I do know this, there are many, many more great adventures and experiences for me to discover, and I can't wait.

My next post may come from Montréal so Paris, I'll see you in a couple of weeks and Montreal, I'm coming home! Look out, we're going to party "Paris" style! :-D

T minus 36 hours to go!!!

Yes, In about 36 hours from now, I'll be on the Air Canada flight back to North America. I am now starting to get very excited about this trip back to my orginal home. It should be great, I very much looking forward to seeing my friends and family. I also get to eat a Poutine and Drive my RSX!!!!

I will also go and play some bball and make some people look foolish (i.e Adrian, Bradley, Eric.., just like in the old days ;-)

As well, there are whole bunch of other people I got to see like my old roommates, Rudy, Phillipe, Vik, Vlad, Marv, Q.. just to name a few... and of course there are the ladies... Haha, just kidding ;-)

So see you all very soon, it's grand Prix weekend as well as Fete nationale du Quebec, St-Jean Batispe, so it's LITTERALLY the biggest weekend for Montreal to party....

Montreal, get ready, I'm going to should you how to party PARIS style!!!!!!!!!

My "Mooning" Debut!

Yes, I am almost amazed myself but yes, I have now done my first International moon. Thanks to my buddy, traveling partner and mooning coach Mathieu Milot. He had just finished doing his moon and then he points to me and says, "C'est ton tour Keith!". Well, even though it was in the middle of the day and everybody (I mean everybody from young families with their babies to retired grand parents) were walking by. But I took a deep breath, unbuckled my belt and pulled down my jeans, just enough to show my rock hard buns ;-) I believe that I overheard someone in the background say, "Oh man that's hot", the only problem is that I could swear that voice sounded a little like Gab, LOL.

After it was all sad and down, it wasn't that bad, I was very nervous at first but it took a gros max of 3 seconds so it really painless. Later on in the day, Mat and I took a few more mooning shots. I think it's very funny, especially seeing people walk by, alot of them not noticing and other who simply just find it interesting.

Montreal, I'll see you soon!!

Yes, I'm heading back home to see my friends and family! I'm leaving France on the 24th of June and returning 2 weeks later. I will also be celebrating my birthday on July 9th in Montreal. There are alot of people I want to see and there is a lot of things I have to do.

Unfortunately one of those things is Sell my Car :-( It's a 2002 Acura RSX Premium. Fully loaded with HEATED leather seats, Power moonroof, and electric EVERYTHING!!! I obvisouly would not need to sell it but since I no longer live in MTL, it doesn't make sense for me to keep the car. If anyone is interested in seeing it and buying it, let me know ASAP.

I thank you for your help with the selling of my baby and I will see all of you very soon in Mount-Real! So where is the first party going to be!?!?!?

Phil, Mel and Sara

Phil Montpellier is a very good friend of mine from back in the days when I worked for Equifax. We remained friends even after Equifax choose to outsource the HelpDesk and go with a cheap Techincal support coming from outside the country (ridiculas I know but alot of companies did that at that time).

Anyway, this guy, like me enjoys life to the fullest and always has a good time. He, unlike me at the time, decided to settle down and marry his sweetheart Mel. I am extremely happy for them, as now they welcome Sara into their family. She is a beauiftul and happy baby girl. I must say I'm surprised that Phil was able to produce such a beauty... hehe, just joking Phil. I am looking forward to hanging out and having some laughs together bro. See you soon. Here is a photo of Phil's little girl, Sara.

Where to begin?!?!

As I sit here and ponder "How long will I be able to stay connected", because my current internet connection drops suddenly... I don't have the internet setup yet, as it seems just like with everything in France, apparently it takes almost a whole month to getg things like this done!!! I am actually picking up a nieghbours connection for free so I will enjoy it while it lasts!!!

I am a little be overwhelmed about where to begin. It's funny that now after almost 3 months of typing using a french keyboard at work and now using my laptop with the traditional US english keyboard, I find my fingers getting confused over which keys to use...lol

I can now confirm that I'm an internet junky. I used to be a cell phone junky, I couldn't live without my cell but now I've turned my attention over to the net. Just as with my cell, I can't seem to live without being able to surf the web, check my email and now update my site. Oh boy, what has happened to me?!?! Don't worry, I have recently paid 700 Euros per year to join a gym, the CLubMed gym so I will make sure that I get my money's worth and go as often as I can. I hope that my buddies Mat and Sacha will join me often.

Ok, the connection has dropped several times since I began writing so I will end with this, I will be heading to Montreal, Quebec, Canada at the end of the week. So tuned for more details!!!!

I'm back!!!!

Salut tout le monde!!!

I apologize to everybody who has been reading my blog; I haven't had anytime to update it since coming back from Olso, Norway. It was a great trip but I will add a post on the trip shortly. Work is very busy and I have been doing alot of things. For example, shopping and fixing up my apartment so it can look and feel more like home. The gardienne/conceigre is a real bitch! On top of that I need to pretend and be nice to her because she gets my mail and then I get it from her. I think that if I told her that she's a stuck up, snobby, old bourgeoise biatch, then it would be safe to assume that anytime there's mail for me, she burn it!!!!

Anyway, there is a new
album for those who want to see what it was like in Olso, Norway. Check it out and let me know what you think. Have a great day, and there will be more blog posts to come, once I get some time to write it.

Scandinavia, here we come!!!!

Yes, it's 12 noon on Friday June 9, our flight to Norway leaves at 16h25 so I'm off to get my bags and I'm meeting Mat @ 14h30. So Gab is still sleeping... I'm leaving with or without him hehe.

Have a great time everybody and see you on Monday!!! Stay tuned for all the photos guys!!!!

Food for thought

"Early to bed, and early to rise, makes a man heathly, weathly, and wise"

The quote is from Keith Dennis Sr. He's my Dad, he used to tell me this when I was younger. I think this one will be especially beneficial to my colleague Gabriel since he is currently sleeping at his desk. Wake up Gab or you'll miss the plane to Olso!!!! ;-)

Limited Blogging......

I have to apologized folks, it's hard to get the time to make new entries because now... I've been getting more work to do (Since Gab is a lazy S.O.B and does nothing all day) and at my new apartment, the internet is NOT installed yet.

Don't worry though, I will update it as soon as I can and I will for for have some news coming about this past weekend. You'll probably see it underneath this one. Don't forget my trip to Norway this weekend with Gab and Mat. There will be alot of photos from there so stay tuned, hehe ;-)

The view "De Mon Salon"

I have to say, I am really starting to love my place and Paris in general. This area in 16th arrondissement and the view from the window in my dinner room is amazing. My living room is actually the same room as my kitchen but at least I don't have to go very far to get beer from the fridge... lol.

I swear it's an amazing feeling, I get up in the morning and before I go to the bathroom, I walk to the window and look outside and there it is!

I also found out this weekend that on the neighbouring street, named Kiebler, that down the street there is a clear view of the Arc de Triumphe.

Therefore, yes, I'm smack in the middle of and approximately a 7 minute walk from either the Eiffel Tower or the Arc de Triumphe. I have to admit that this is very cool for me. The reason is that to me these structures represent what Paris is to me and to the world. A pride that is purer and less boldful than the americans and represents a love of art and artitecture. The Tower is recognized all over the world and it is the first thing people think about when they hear the word "Paris".

Well, maybe a little bit less now because of a certain spoiled, talentless (unless you call giving a blowjob a talent) and heir to the family fortune, princess Paris Hilton ;-)

I have a special video of the Eiffel tower at night, it will be available in the next couple of days.

Fun Filled Friday Night

Well, I finally get the chance to talk about Last Friday, June 2nd. I warn you, the details are a little faded because it has been a week since all of this happened. I sometimes can't remember what I've done a couple of days after the fact, so imagine 1 whole week, LOL.

It was the first Friday at my new apartment and Sacha wanted to get to together to celebrate Victoria's B-day (Happy belated sweety). We all had supper at, yes, San Antonio's!!!!!! I love this restaurant!!!!!!! I cannot stress it enough everybody, great atmosphere, service is five star, the food is fantastic and the price, is just right, every bit is worth every cent!!!!

I arrived first, the others were late, we actually ended up getting inside around 11:30pm. The resto had a line up of people waiting to eat even past 1am whoever since we go there quite often, even if we are a big gang of people, the accomodate us very well.

So after 7 bottles of both red wine and Sangria (2 of which were on the house) we left there and headed to the club called Duplex on le Champ Elysees (which happens to be a 3 minute drive by taxi to my place, hehe).

Duplex was such a great time. Good music, (still behind in the new music as compared to Canada and the U.S) and we even smoked a Shesha!!!! It reminded me of the times me and Rudy who smoke, chill, and chat about everything and nothing. Honestly, it was alot of fun over there, I'm looking forward to going back. In fact, Sacha, he had a VERY good time.

The party did not end there, after we noticed that Sacha was passed out on the table, we left and put him and Vic in a cab around 4h30 am. However we still wanted to continue the party so where did we end up, well at the most talked about club in Paris, where even celebs like Paris Hilton and Collin Farrow. It's approiately named "VIP" (The photo above is from the club VIP). Yup, we ended up there and bought 3 more bottles, 2 bottles of champange and 1 bottle of vodak!!! We ended up leaving at the very end around 7h00 am!!!! Wow, what a night indeed :-D

Good Times :-D

Salut, good-bye, Keith has left the building!!!

It's Friday!!!! All smiles here, going home to my new apt

Merci Salima!!!!!

Je suis desolé Salima, J'ai oublié d'ecrire ton nom dans mon post "Last day in Torcy!!!" mais je veux te remercier pour les leçons de danse et pour essayer de me faire apprendre en peu de Salsa :-)

I've done it, the move is complete!!!

Yes, It finished, I'm out of my 2 month home in a hotel in Torcy and into my small (Compared to my duplex, 7 room apartment I had in Montreal) apartment right beside the Eiffel Tower!!! It took me about 11 hours (4 trips back & forth from Torcy to Paris) to move everything into the apartment. I have to say thanks to the Student who was living there before, she left the place in great shape therfore I do not need to do alot of cleaning. So for those who have not realized yet, the apartment is located near Metro station Trocadéro. This station is popular for tourists because of the famous tower located near there. As a matter of fact, when I look out of my window, I can CLEARLY see... The Eiffel Tower. I as promised will soon upload îctures of the apartment and some from my window with the view of the tower. Anytime you are in the area, feel free to pass by, visit me and enjoy the view ;-)

Last day in Torcy!!!

Torcy has been nice to me, it's about 10 or 15 minute train ride East from Torcy to Euro-Disney! I have not been to Euro-Disney but I will visit it in the next couple of months. In Torcy, there are some very nice restaurants, a 12 cinema movie theatre and there is a huge Mall 10 minute walk from my hotel. This town I believe is catered for the tourists who go and visit Euro-Disney. However I also found out that there are some big companies near-by like Nestle, where over 1500 people work. So this city is growing more and more. I like it actually but it is too far from Paris, too far from work.

Well, I have to say, I've been looking very forward to this day and even more so for demain when I will get the keys for my appartment and move my things in the morning. WOW, I am really starting to feel like Paris has become my new home. I have to thank alot of people for helping me make this happen, all of the great people I've met in France. Gabbo, Tanya, Sacha, Nat, Yanick, Marc, Mat, Oliver, Iris, Jalia, Isa, Fulya, Alexis, Didier Petit, Jessica, Val, Sebfo and my Moroccan luver Saad, hahaha :-D If there is anybody I forgot, please forgive me, It's still only 10am in Paris so my brain is working only around 65% ;-)

Seriously, you all have been great and I'm looking forward to more adventures together. After the move, I now will be within a 10 minute walk from Champs Elysees and I will have a great and clear view of the Eiffel tower!!! Yup, life is good, I get to wake up every morning, look out my window and see the Eiffel tower. Demain, I will have photos and videos to show you all, directly from my living room, hehe.

BTW, I'm still looking for volunteers to help me move, hint, hint, Gab and Sacha.
